The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA<\/a>) is preparing a plot of land, once part of the Tang Dynasty City theme park, for new residential developments in the Jurong Lake District<\/a>. This district is set to become Singapore\u2019s largest business hub outside the city center.<\/span><\/p>\n URA is seeking public feedback on this plan until June 27.<\/p>\n The site was once Tang Dynasty City, a theme park and film studio from 1992 to 1999, modeled after the ancient Chinese capital of Chang\u2019an. It was demolished between 2008 and 2009.<\/p>\n The new homes will be located between Jurong Lake Gardens<\/a> and the Ayer Rajah Expressway. Nearby amenities include St. Andrew’s Nursing Home and SuperBowl Jurong.
